If you like martial arts or comedy, and have an evening you can spare before the 29th (and are able to get to the Peacock theatre in London), then check out Jump!
Laugh? I nearly lost continence. In addition to the dazzling display skills and wushu sets, there's gymnastics, acrobatics and a storyline where a dysfunctional martial arts-obsessed family are having a prospective son-in-law come to visit. Plus they get burgled in act 2 . . .
Along the way they manage to spoof and parody most of the martial arts set pieces in traditional films plus the Matrix . . . and where else can you see someone vault a triple somersault whilst mugging to the audience?
Be warned though - if you're sitting in the front, you may be pulled on stage to square off with your martial arts skills. Fantastic stuff.
...and it's coming back to the Peacock in February 2007 for a 10-week stay.
